DetailsThis is a Handmade Leather Guitar Strap Featuring an Ancient Egyptian motif. Crafted from ultra thick premium vegetable tanned leather, the instrument strap has been hand dyed and tooled, and the details have been hand painted.
The ancient Egyptian imagery has been permanently etched into the leather in black:
Ankh: Life symbol
Thoth: God of the moon and writing
Winged Scarabs: Symbol of life and rebirth
Hathor: Goddess of the Sky and of music, dance, joy, love, and family
Eye of Ra
Selected portions of the artwork are hand painted in shades of gold, turquoise, red and blue, and the strap was hand dyed in a distressed Antique Tan with a vintage antique appearance.

How I made it:
We start with thick and rugged full grain vegetable tanned leather. The pieces were tooled with the design being permanently etched into the leather. The edges have been hand beveled for added dimension and visual interest. The strap was specially hand dyed to enhance the natural beauty of the leather with a unique distressed finish, so it has a great vintage look. The strap was hand painted with specialty paints for leather. Several top coats were applied to add a subtle satin finish that will both enhance the beauty and longevity of your strap. Like the best songs, this guitar strap will just get better with time.

Length: The length is adjustable for a custom fit. Approximately 46" to 54" total length, and from approximately 40" to 51" hole to hole. This design has adjustment slots on one side only.

Most tarot card cases are sized to house a standard sized tarot deck or smaller. The standard cases will house this size deck or smaller:
2 7/8 inches (72mm) wide
1.25 inches (32mm) deep
4 15/16 inches (125mm) tall.
All our standard size tarot cases are tested at the time of creation and prior to shipping, using a classic RW deck from a US publisher. We also have listings in our shop for palm sized (slightly smaller) or oversized decks. If you need a larger case to fit your specific deck, I would be happy to custom build one for you. Vegetable tanning is an organic process to preserve the leather. It uses natural tannins from plant sources, making it more environmentally friendly. It’s a slow process which takes weeks to months to complete.
Vegetable-tanned leather has some rigidity to it, which helps the product to retain its shape and integrity. Vegetable-tanned leather will soften and develop a rich patina over time, meaning your item will develop a unique and appealing appearance as it ages, only getting better with time.
By contrast, chrome-tanned leather is quickly chemically and more inexpensively tanned. It may present toxins to the environment and manufacturing employees. "Vegan", faux, or PU leather is petroleum-based polyurethane/vinyl.
