This Full Grain Leather Card Case will hold two decks of Standard sized (poker sized) playing cards. To be hand crafted by us in our shop from premium full grain vegetable tanned leather with a distressed vintage look finish. We hand dye and saddle-stitch our case, which is made to last for decades of use. The leather will develop a beautiful patina with use and only get better with time!
A great addition to your game night. This case would also make a thoughtful gift for a card player in your life. It can be purchased with or without the two decks of quality brand name poker sized cards.

Our playing card cases are hand dyed or antiqued. Leather is a natural product, and each piece of leather takes the dye slightly different. The natural character of the real full grain leather combined with the hand dying process makes each case unique.
STRING COLORS:
We have many color choices available: Ivory/Natural, black, espresso, coffee brown, light blue, sapphire blue, navy blue, neon green, khaki green, dark green, mahogany, red, light purple, dark purple, orange, pink, yellow. The hand-sewn construction, utilizing heavy-duty waxed thread, is saddle stitched, a proven hand sewn technique that ensures lasting durability and keeps every seam super tight and secure.
HARDWARE COLORS:
We use antique brass swing clasps for a classic decorative and functional detail to your playing card case.

Sizing details
There are many different sizes of card decks, so be sure to check your specific deck's measurement against your listing before ordering.
Most tarot card cases are sized to house a standard sized tarot deck or smaller. The standard cases will house this size deck or smaller:
2 7/8 inches (72mm) wide
1.25 inches (32mm) deep
4 15/16 inches (125mm) tall.
All our standard size tarot cases are tested at the time of creation and prior to shipping, using a classic RW deck from a US publisher. We also have listings in our shop for palm sized (slightly smaller) or oversized decks. If you need a larger case to fit your specific deck, I would be happy to custom build one for you. Vegetable tanning is an organic process to preserve the leather. It uses natural tannins from plant sources, making it more environmentally friendly. It’s a slow process which takes weeks to months to complete.
Vegetable-tanned leather has some rigidity to it, which helps the product to retain its shape and integrity. Vegetable-tanned leather will soften and develop a rich patina over time, meaning your item will develop a unique and appealing appearance as it ages, only getting better with time.
By contrast, chrome-tanned leather is quickly chemically and more inexpensively tanned. It may present toxins to the environment and manufacturing employees. "Vegan", faux, or PU leather is petroleum-based polyurethane/vinyl.
