DetailsThis is a handmade leather mask depicting The Egyptian God Anubuis/ Inpu / Anpu / Black Jackal. This leather mask was hand formed, dyed & painted by us in our shop. The mask features an Ancient Egypt motif including the Eye of Horus & Ey of Ra, and Ankh in addition to depicting Anubis. It has been hand dyed in an antiqued black leather finish and hand painted in gold & Egyptian blue metallic tones.
How I made it:
- Hand cut from thick and rugged full grain vegetable tanned (naturally tanned leather).
- Hand molded, shaped and styled to portray Anubis.
- Detailed with ancient Egyptian symbols (Ankh, Eye of Horus, Eye of Ra, etc.)
- Painted in gold and blue metallic paints.
- Hand dyed finish in a distressed black antique finish.
Size Information:
- Approximately 14.5 inches tall from the nose to the top of the ears.
- See photo on mannequin head for reference.
Additional Information:
- Easy to wear & breath (plenty of room for surgical or covid-type mask to be worn at the same time).
- Large eye slots make it easy to see while wearing.
- Formed to fit nicely on the face & will further improve with use & wear.
- The backside of the mask is purposely left natural to feel better against the face and reduce chances of irritants.
- We've included a hole on each side of the mask for your own provided strap or wall hanger (not included).
- PLEASE NOTE: For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on masks.

Sizing details
There are many different sizes of card decks, so be sure to check your specific deck's measurement against your listing before ordering.
Most tarot card cases are sized to house a standard sized tarot deck or smaller. The standard cases will house this size deck or smaller:
2 7/8 inches (72mm) wide
1.25 inches (32mm) deep
4 15/16 inches (125mm) tall.
All our standard size tarot cases are tested at the time of creation and prior to shipping, using a classic RW deck from a US publisher. We also have listings in our shop for palm sized (slightly smaller) or oversized decks. If you need a larger case to fit your specific deck, I would be happy to custom build one for you. Vegetable tanning is an organic process to preserve the leather. It uses natural tannins from plant sources, making it more environmentally friendly. It’s a slow process which takes weeks to months to complete.
Vegetable-tanned leather has some rigidity to it, which helps the product to retain its shape and integrity. Vegetable-tanned leather will soften and develop a rich patina over time, meaning your item will develop a unique and appealing appearance as it ages, only getting better with time.
By contrast, chrome-tanned leather is quickly chemically and more inexpensively tanned. It may present toxins to the environment and manufacturing employees. "Vegan", faux, or PU leather is petroleum-based polyurethane/vinyl.
