DetailsThis is a hand-crafted premium leather high quality XL game deck case.
Extra room to height available to carry dice, counters, etc. Flaps added to sides to assure cargo stays secure inside the case until you open it.
The thick leather is hand dyed in Antique Frontier Brown with a weathered look. (so even though your case newly handmade it will look like it has seen a game or two). Because this case is hand dyed in varying colors each piece of leather is as different as a fingerprint there will never be another exactly like it - each case is unique.
Hand sewn with heavy duty Ivory waxed thread. Saddle stitched to help prevent any unravel and keeping all seems super tight.
The thick and durable vegetable tanned leather will last for decades while maintaining its luxurious look and feel.

Heavy metal swing clasp in antique brass that is easy to open and stays closed when you need it to.
The entire box is covered with a protective sealant and a wax finish that serves as moisture protection against the occasional spilled energy drink. The box is ridged and durable while the leather provides a rich look and feel - it's a great combination. The perfect storage for coveted game cards.
This case will stand upright and cards are placed in vertically. It was designed to hold standard card sizes (sleeved, double sleeved, or raw dog cards) while leaving room at the top for extra dice and counters.

There are many different sizes of card decks, so be sure to check your specific deck's measurement against your listing before ordering.
Most tarot card cases are sized to house a standard sized tarot deck or smaller. The standard cases will house this size deck or smaller:
2 7/8 inches (72mm) wide
1.25 inches (32mm) deep
4 15/16 inches (125mm) tall.
All our standard size tarot cases are tested at the time of creation and prior to shipping, using a classic RW deck from a US publisher. We also have listings in our shop for palm sized (slightly smaller) or oversized decks. If you need a larger case to fit your specific deck, I would be happy to custom build one for you. Vegetable tanning is an organic process to preserve the leather. It uses natural tannins from plant sources, making it more environmentally friendly. It’s a slow process which takes weeks to months to complete.
Vegetable-tanned leather has some rigidity to it, which helps the product to retain its shape and integrity. Vegetable-tanned leather will soften and develop a rich patina over time, meaning your item will develop a unique and appealing appearance as it ages, only getting better with time.
By contrast, chrome-tanned leather is quickly chemically and more inexpensively tanned. It may present toxins to the environment and manufacturing employees. "Vegan", faux, or PU leather is petroleum-based polyurethane/vinyl.
